The highly anticipated second half of “Teen Wolf” season three returned as Monday’s #1 original cable series. The most watched telecast in the series’ history, the episode drew-in a record 2.5 million total viewers.  It also garnered a strong 2.3 P12-34 rating, matching the earlier series high when season three first debuted.  According to Social Guide, “Teen Wolf” was the most social entertainment program of the night, with nearly 1.2 million tweets — 25 percent more than the earlier series high.  Season three is pacing to be the highest-rated and most-watched season to date.
The series also scored well with teens, earning a 4.3 rating with this demo, and an impressive 6.3 rating among female teens. Both are record highs for the series.  Immediately following last night’s “Teen Wolf” episode, MTV debuted “Wolf Watch,” a new half-hour talk show hosted by Jill Wagner who plays “Kate Argent” in “Teen Wolf,” which held over 60 percent of its lead-in, with a 1.4 P12-34 rating.
Congrats to the entire cast and crew! Great job fans!

In last night’s first episode of the After After Show, guest Daniel Sharman was asked who would win in a fight, a zombie or a Teen Wolf cast member before their coffee. Check out the video at the 4:00 minute mark to see why he chose Tyler. While we are certain that Daniel was picking on Tyler, we are just happy to have further proof that Tyler is nothing like Derek Hale. :-)

Jeff Davis chats about Derek

Posted on January 7, 2014 by Bets in Articles, Teen Wolf, Tyler 0

Jeff Davis spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about Season 3b and what we can expect for the remainder of Season 3b.  Here’s what he had to say about Derek.

Now that you’ve had a chance to sit with these characters for several years now, who has changed the most from how you first conceived them?

It’s actually great pleasure to see all of them go through many changes. I think Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) is definitely [a character that’s changed the most]. He went from being a real bad guy in the first season to this season, where we’re really trying to craft him into a hero. It’s nice to be able to see him making that change

We don’t necessarily agree that Derek was a ‘real bad guy’ in the first season, but we do appreciate that they are finally letting him be a hero.

Jeff Davis Talks Derek in Season 3b

Posted on January 6, 2014 by Bets in Articles, Teen Wolf, Television, Tyler 0

Jeff Davis chatted with Jim Halterman recently about what we can expect in Season 3b, premiering tonight at 10pm (eastern) on MTV.  Here’s a snippet of what he had to say about Derek.

TVF: Where is Derek in all this since he left at the end of last season?

JD: His journey is finding his place. He’s a kind of failed leader. He’s wondering what is he supposed to do now. I think we took him from a kind of bad guy in the first season to morally on the fence by the end of the first season, to bad guy again in the beginning of the second season, a rival pack to Scott to a hero in season 3A in the first half of our season three.

This is our chance to make him a real hero in 3B. I like the idea that characters change in the course of serialized TV. What the real challenge for the characters is can they live up to that change, can they keep it or do they fall back? We’re going to see if Derek can maintain that change that he’s made into a hero.

We don’t know about you, but we are excited to see what happens with Derek the remainder of this season, but we sure hope that ‘hero’ doesn’t translate to ‘dead’ in Jeff’s mind.
